A few weeks ago I was driving somewhere using the kids in the car, and wound up hearing the local pop music radio station. Ethan heartily endorsed this decision, because he gets fed up with listening to NPR constantly. Soon he was bouncing in his child car seat... after which I realized what the song's lyrics were saying coupled with to quickly switch the station. Ethan was not pleased with this decision and kept begging me to turn it back. Given that he has started trying to sing together with all the songs he hears, I didn't think it had been smart to give in and turn the station back.

And that's why we were all really happy after i got a duplicate from the newest Kidz Bop CD, Kidz Bop 21. Kidz Bop features the big hit songs of the day, sung for kids, by kids, with inappropriate lyrics replaced with ones that parents don't have to be worried about.

We've been fortunate enough to review a lot of truly great kids' music over the past couple of years, but it was nice to possess a small change. From the moment I pressed experience the CD player, the children were dancing and playing around the living room. Dance party in my living room! I was amazed through the quality of music and singing and honestly couldn't tell much difference from the way the songs sound around the radio (minus the questionable lyrics). Songs covered on this CD include Party Rock Anthem, You are making Me Feel..., Someone Like You, Moves Like Jagger, and many more. All in most, this is a fun CD to listen to and dance to, and I know it is going to help get us with these long winter days!
